Their responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods to remain competitive throughout Connecticut.
Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies MUST understand how to read reports and analyze trends in SEO/SEM along with impressions, CTR, various modalities in regard to marketing.
Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns are most effective Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market Work with sales department and CEO to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service Oversee social media marketing strategy including paid campaigns Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards Creative and diligent about scheduling community outreach events and coordinating with sales in regard to carrying event out from beginning to end.
SKILLS REQUIRED Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal MUST have at least 3-5 years of experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Social Media advertising, media buying (i.
e-TV, Radio, Digital).
MUST be proficient in reading/analyzing reports and able to provide a monthly spreadsheet to CEO detailing marketing efforts and POI.
Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition Ability to lead groups and be decisive Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them Proficient with analysis and design software Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, Facebook, Instagram, email marketing and other digital marketing tactics Media buying-TV, Radio, Digital, etc.
Able to work autonomously and reach out to multiple vendors in order to provide best platform for our needs Able to use and design/create ads through Adobe and various other programs for digital marketing SCHEDULE Flexibility with schedule and hours! Some remote work may be possible once acclimated to the position.
Occassional work required in evening or weekend for events run throughout the year (approx 4-5 per year).
